Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
400 g Chicken; bite-size
1/2 Tbsp. Light Soy Sauce
1/2 Tsp. Salt
Dash of White Pepper
1/2 Egg
2 Tbsp. Corn Starch
1/2 Tbsp. Marmite
1/2 Tbsp. Honey
2 Tbsp. Maltose
1/2 Tsp. Shrimp Paste
50 ml Hot Water
1 clove Garlic; minced
Sesame Seed for garnishing

    Marinate Chicken

    Put chicken with soy sauce, salt, pepper and egg in a bowl. Mix and marinate for 1 hr in the refrigerator.

    Deep Fry Chicken

    Dust chicken with flour and deep fry chicken in preheated medium heat oil till golden brown. Discard oil when done deep-frying

    Sauce Coating

    Add Marmite, honey, maltose, shrimp paste with hot water in a small bowl. Mix well.

    Using the same wok, add in chopped garlic and marmite water mixture, stir and cook till big bubbles, add in fried chicken, stir well to coat chicken entirely.

    Garnish with roasted sesame seed.

    Serve hot.
