Prepare Side IngredientsSeason egg yolks and egg whites in 2 separate bowls with a pinch of salt each. Stir to mix well. Heat up a frying pan over low heat. Using a oiled paper towel, spread a layer of oil on the pan. Pour in yolks. Swirl pan around to spread yolks to a thin layer. Leave it to cook 90 %. Flip and let cook for 10 secs. Dish up. Repeat with egg white. When it has cooled, slice thinly. Using the same frying pan over medium heat and some oil, cook onion. Season with pinch of salt. Place in a big bowl. Repeat the same for red bell pepper and carrot. Using the same frying pan over medium high heat, add 1 tbsp oil. When pan is hot, add marinated pork and mushroom. Stir fry till cook through. Add to the same big bowl. Boil a pot of water. Blanch spinach for 1 min in boiling water. Run cooked spinach under cold water. Cut into bite size lengths. Then squeeze out excess water. Season with some salt, sesame oil, soy sauce and sesame seed. In the same pot of boiling water, add dangmyeon. Cook according to package instructions. When it is 1 min before ready, drain and go through cold running water to get rid of excess starch and prevent them from sticking. |
