80 g Cocoa Powder
65 g Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
A pinch of Salt
200 g Unsalted Butter
200 g Dark Chocolate
175 g Sugar
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven. Line a 9 inch pan.
In a bowl, combine cocoa powder, all purpose flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well and set aside.
In a separate bowl, melt butter and chocolate over a bain marie. Alternatively, you can put them in the microwave oven stirring it every 30 seconds till it has melted completely. Leave them to cool.
Add flour mixture to melted butter and chocolate. Stir until well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time and stir until well combined before adding the next egg. Don’t worry if your batter looks separated in lumps when you add the eggs. Keep stirring and it will come together.
Add in sugar to the batter and stir well.
Pour the ready brownie batter into the prepare baking pan. Bake for 30 mins.
Check your brownies by inserting a skewer into the center of the pan. i like my brownies to be a little gooey, so skewer should come out with a little residue.
Cool in pan for 5 mins before serving. Enjoy!
