400 g Chicken Thigh; small bite sizes

150 g Mozarella Cheese

10 pcs Fresh Rice Cake; cylinder shape

1 stalk Spring Onion; chopped finely

50 ml Water

Sauce

3 Tbsp. Gochujang

1/2 cup Hot Pepper Flakes

1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce

3 Tbsp. Cooking Oil

1/2 Tsp. Ground Black Pepper

1/3 cup Honey

6 cloves Garlic; grated

2 Tsp. Ginger; grated

Marinate ChickenIn a bowl, add all sauce ingredients. Mix well. Add chicken and mix well. |

Cooking the dishBring a cast iron pan over medium heat. Add one tablespoon oil and the marinated chicken. Add water to get all sauce in the bowl. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir the chicken to make sure it doesn't burn bottom. Add rice cakes on top then cover again. Cook over low heat for 15 mins. Uncover to stir half way. Add cheese on top. Cover and cook till cheese melted. Serve with some spring onions on top. Good to eat on its own or with rice. |
