In a sauce pan, heat up some oil and saute minced garlic till fragrant. Add in minced pork. Cook for 4 mins till browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper. Add in tomato paste, puree, sugar, oregano, onion powder and fresh basil to the meat. Mix well. Add in water and stir. Let sauce simmer without cover for 30 mins before serving over pasta. If time allows, simmer the sauce for 2 hrs or more for a yummier sauce. |
