50 g Pearl Barley
2 l Water
100 g Rock Sugar

1/4 pc Lime

    Prepare Barley

    Wash and drain barley twice till water runs clean.

    Boil Barley

    Add water and barley into a pot over medium high heat. Bring to a boil the lower to simmer for 40 mins. Stir every 10 mins to prevent bottom from burning. Add rock sugar and stir till melt completely.

    Off fire and let it cool.

    Serve

    Serve barley drink as it is or keep in the fridge to get cold before consuming. Add a squeeze of lime if desired.
